About this time 5 years ago...........

I was getting ready to put on the most beautiful wedding dress that had ever seen and marry my best friend. I was also getting ready to call my mom and tell her to get her tail home and get ready. You see on the weekend of my wedding our governor at the time decided to tour the historical sights in Sumner County and my reception sight was one of them. So as luck would have it, we couldn't start decorating until the day of the wedding and my mom had been up there all day. I called my mom and sweetly told her that I didn't care what it looked like because it was time for her to be at the church. :) Also about this time 5 years ago Josh was on his way to the church, late, and happened to forget a minor piece of jewelry needed for the ceremony. You guessed it the RING. Thankfully his dad drove about 90mph back home to retrieve it, and I can say that it arrived just minutes before Josh's parents were to take their seats and Josh was going to walk out. About this time 5 years ago, I was getting ready to walk down and isle and my dad decided it was going to be his mission to make me cry!!! Well his mission was successful when they opened the doors for us to walk out and he leaned under to me and told me that he was very proud of me. And most people know I don't like to cry!! Thanks dad!!! Another thing that happened about this time 5 years ago, was as Josh and I arrived at the reception sight I was greeted by one of my mom's coworkers who had stayed at the reception sight to make sure everything was ok. She was wanting to know where my mom was because the cakes were in the process of melting!!! But with all of the craziness that happened that day it still was an awesome day because it was the start of this wild and crazy adventure that Josh and I have been on for the past 5 years!!!! Happy anniversary Josh!!!!
